How will emerging technologies be used for learning?

-How will emerging technologies be used for learning?

-What are the ememrging technologies and how can we show the value of using these technologies in the classroom?

Emerging Technologies:

-Skype:
With Skype you can make free calls over the internet to other people on Skype for as long as you like, to wherever you like.

-MSN Messenger:
Use it on any shared computer - at school, at work, at a friend's house or anywhere.

-Microsoft Office:
Open, edit, and save documents, workbooks, and presentations in the file formats new to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

-Wikispaces:
Enter a topic or web address, discover new things.

-Blogger:
Free blog to share to share your travels Travel Blog, photos, maps, and videos.

-Google:
You can keep your email address confidential, and easily turn off unwanted emails.

-Wikipedia:
Fair use is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as use for scholarship or review. It provides for the legal, and non-licensed citation.

-Yahoo:
Discover and share applications that use Yahoo! technologies. Find and use cool mashups and plug-ins that use Yahoo! technologies.

-Podcasting:
Podcasts can be used for a number of different things and as the industry evolves broadcasters and webmasters are finding additional ways to use podcasts.

-E-Learnng:
The software and the skills to easily create E-Learning.

-Line Zine:
Offers all kinds of zinc, zinc ball zinc line, and zinc wire.

-Messaging:
Adult use of instant messaging continues to grow in intensity, particularly among younger users who appreciate and embrace the tools of expression embedded within IM programs.

-Gaming:
Mumble is an open source, low-latency, high quality voice chat software primarily intended for use while gaming.

-Accounts:
One common solution in use today has been to create identically named user accounts on both the UNIX and Windows systems and use the Samba suite of programs to provide file and print services.

-Peer-to-Peer Sharing:
A peer to peer computer network uses diverse connectivity between participants in a network and the cumulative bandwidth of network participants rather than conventional centralized resources where a relatively low number of servers provide the core value to a service.

-E-mails:
It would help people to work things out if they have problems instead of phoning them, they would chat on Email Accounts, they can play, they have chat videos, you can talk to them if some of the Emails have a phone tool.
